food fair todae!!! lalalaz... helped with the decor... den when everything was ready, i managed to 拉 a few juniors buy our food... hahaz... managed to get zhiren to buy oso... hahaz... hmm... anyhow spent my games coupons... used one on zhiren's stall... oso dunno wad i did there... den the other one i gave to shona to use...

finished up all my coupons den went to class to sleep... damn it... dunno why sho tired oso... =(

after sch went to parkway to get the food for tml's food fair... weitin and lyn went to bedok to get cloth for the banner and tablecloth... me, fio, an ee, pam, junyan, zhangsheng and zuoyi went to parkway (like i juz said), to buy foodstuff from Giant. hahaz... we took all the baguette's there... all five...

after we finished with the buying... we went to PastaMania for lunch so fio, an ee and I shared a 10-inch pizza plus drinks... and we finished ALL the cheese!! u noe, the powdered cheese they provide? oops, those ppl there muz be thinking we all crazy sia!!

den later we took 15 to zuoyi's house... lalalaz... kaoz!!! his house is so damn nice lohz!!! 3-storey terrace wif garden... and his room is sooo neat!! i definitely wont ever be able to be so neat lohz.... hahaz...

so me and weitin juz cut out some patterns (got the patterns on a temasek poly paper bag) on vanguard den spray painted it on the cloth... i dunno how to spray paint properly so we juz let junyan do it lohz... hahaz... den accidentally 'permeated' the cloth and the ground kenna painted yellow abit oso... we played on the swing awhile... den later we tried to clean the yellow stain using thinner... managed to get abit off larz... but still quite obvious lehz... oops... =p

hahaz... went to holy innocent's for a carnival with carol and her cousin, violet. very hot there so we bought alot of fruit punch and then played a few games - won some fans.... lalalaz... then we went to kfc and shared a $10.95 meal... ya, then walked around abit and went to bugis to watch intolerable cruelty. and my advice is... DON'T watch it unless you can understand the american accent REALLY well or if you have absolutely no other movies to watch. i busted $8.50 today... =( pretty fun day anywayz... hahaz...

i'm so happy!! juz now me and my mum went out to TM and CS and got quite a few nice things... =) i gt a nice bag from Montip... brown and has a very comfortable furry feel... hahaz... the rest are tops frm bossini and OP.

Yo!! Happy Deepavali!! hahaz... kkz... today i'll see if i can complete all the cheng yu and i'll make sure i learn the sec3A express 词语 (han yu pin yin only) so tt later tuition wont be so slow like wed liddat... lalalaz...

okay, a review of my final-yr results... ermz... chem was a shocker, dunno y dis time so lan... anyway, nxt time chem muz get A1. eng was a pleasant surprise, an improvement from past results, not too bad. chinese wasn't good, normal ppl should get A1 for chinese, but i've always been lousy in chinese so... juz try harder nxt time ba!

emaths was good... dun mind if i do better though, hahaz... made a few damn careless mistakes... amaths, since so many ppl failed, me passing is already a good thing... but amaths is a subject whereby i MUST get A1 since i suck at languages and humans and am stronger in my maths subjects.

geog is not too good either since mdm sim helped a lot but considering my test results... it's still okay larz i guess.... and combined humans... was a GREAT surprise!! hehez... very good performance considering mid-yr results (failed both), really improved by aLOT!! physics was also very surprising coz i didn't study AT ALL until last minute... muz keep it up wor...

overall, did well/okay comparatively for emaths, physics, amaths, combined humans, eng. Not good for chem, geog and chinese. yupz... tt's about all... lalalaz... compared to mid-yr, it's a good improvement... pretty happy with it... mainly B3s but could have gotten 2 more A2s... hmm... yeah...

phew!! i did surprisingly well for the most of my subjects... at least, better than expectations anyway...okie, i passed geog: 65... with lots of leniency from mdm sim i guess...and i passed english with 69! i really couldn't believe it at first! okay, it's not a veri gd mark...but u noe, in sec1 i ALWAYS failed summary. now it's like... 21/25!!! i think it's the highest i've gotten since sec1!! hahaz... den for amaths, i got 69 too! hehez... i passed too!! hmm... interesting...

den the most surprising is my combined humanities. SS: 33/50 History: 38/50. okie, mebbe for some ppl its juz a very normal mark... but to a person who failed mid-yr for both these subjects, it's a great achievement!!! I cant believe i actually got a1 for history!!! OMG!!! ehz... den for physics... it was like... such a surprise lohz... hahaz... at first i saw the section b and tot it was the full mark, it was 46/70... so was thinking :"Good. I passed." den i got the MCQ. 24/30. what the?! i got 70%!!! tt's like... A2!! my god!!

someone 'up there' has been helping me ba... thx to whoever it is... i'm really really grateful.

okie... bad news first... haiz... my chi onli get 49.5/80... kaoz... hmm, was expecting it larz... hahaz... tot i'd fail anywayz, so at least i PASSED!! den amaths... tong said i MADE IT =) but he was disappointed coz i didn't get higher... hahaz... but i PASSED!!! yeah manz! i really tot i'd fail coz everyone was like.. argh, how cum sho difficult wanz?? ermz... den emaths. heehee... at first i saw the paper i tot i get 70/100... den later i found out it's actually 70/80!! hahaz... so it's 87.5/100!! yay!!! so tt's $50 earned... =)
if you dunno yet... tt's to contribute to my so-called 'hp fund'... hahaz... see my post on Aug 31 2003...

i've doing alot of massages for my mum too... normally it's free... (der...) but she said she'd add $5 to my fund for each massage... hahaz... 好赚 rit?

oh well, my mum's sick.. as in really sick coz she's down with a serious flu... oh well, sleeping liaoz... supposed to learning 成语 now but i juz dun feel like studying...

choir tml is cancelled coz dunno y mr tan suddenly dun wan... haiz... we sho long dun hav choir prac liaoz... sho muz be even more 积极 for the next few wks before competition!! on the brighter side, at least i gt time to prepare for tuition... lalalaz... haiz... feeling veri 烦 now lehz... mebbe coz the day i get back all my shocking results is looming nearer and nearer... it's like... tml...

yawnz... veri tired lehz... dunno y... i guess todae go out alot ba... morning i go sch check chem paper for half an hr... den me and carol went to long john's at CS for lunch, den we go library gt all the shops like not open wanz, and met an ee and nickor... talked crap for abt an hr - we sat down at the children's section and read the 3 yr-old bks... hahaz... - den abt 12.20 we left and i went back to sch for comm meeting at 1.

the whole comm was like... at the void deck for abt 40min before we finally decided to go to airport... lalalaz... sat down at the viewing tower and discussed abt the next 7wks before our competition at genting... den i had to leave early coz i had piano, and mrs foo had to wait for me, hahaz... luckily todae my mum gt half day so mrs foo can wait inside... hahaz...

haiz... den i STILL had tuition to go to... ergh... not tt i dun like it or anything, but i was damn tired liaoz... so i didn't learn much... oh well...

hmm... zhiren came to my house for awhile to burn some cds, then me and my family went out for dinner at United Square. lalalaz... dunno wat to say liaoz... go and continue watching my '希望之歌'... :D

juz watching some korean vcd called '希望之歌', quite nice larz... haiz... gotta clean up all the mess tt i made ard the house during exam time... oh well...

yay!! we juz went to Novena Square celebrate my father's b'dae coz we had some vouchers for the Coca restaurant. Then we juz walked around then i gt a really nice Internet mag, it's got a CD with lots of full programs, and some kind of book abt this guy surviving in the new economy - it's supposed to be funny, i dunno - yeah, and the mag's gt stuff about flash, html, and the goings-on on the internet. anywayz, i also passed by a shop tt had jokes, thoughts and quotes pasted around it. I liked one of the jokes:

"There were 3 couples having dinner together. The first husband said to his wife:' Pass me the sugar, Sugar.' The second husband then said:' Pass me the honey, Honey.'

hahaz... well, then we went down to espirit where my mum got some nail polish. hmm... she's recently been wearing nail polish on her feet cos she got some nice shoes so she also wants nice feet to go with it... :P

then we walked around and saw Ronaldo's!! i love their apple strudel (and durian strudel too!!) ! yum!! so luckily my mum loves it too and got a mini strudel to share. heehee...

most of the shops, i felt, closed much too early - most of them were closing by the time it was nine. oh well, so home we went.

Happy Birthday to my father!! yupz, todae's his birthday... so later we'll probably be going out for dinner together. lalalaz...

~~Chinese~~ Last Day!!!
FINALLY exams are over!! hmm... actually i dont feel much... why? coz since tues i've already been pretty relaxed... lalalaz... went out with carol juz now after exams... actually we wanted to watch a movie but den coz later i gt tuition (yes!! i've got TUITION right after exams!! ergh...) so we called that off and juz had lunch instead. then we're going out on monday after getting our chem papers back. hmm... i did pretty badly, no, VERY badly for chem... coz juz now we had a glimpse of the marks... oh well, not saying the marks yet coz i dun wanna think it's true until i've checked the paper. hope there was a calculation error though... hahaz... :D

hmm... anyway, i think i'll be relaxing this weekend... then nxt wk i'll start to pia for chinese 'o' levels... hmm... yeah, shld be... tt's if i've got enough self-discipline that is... :P

wow, one of the NS-men died yesterday coz he got drowned or sth in Pulau Tekong... during the training he had to put his head in water... and he juz coughed alot and passed away after abt an hour or so... hmm... thinking about now, yeah, of course it's sad, but it has nvr happened before rit? if so, isit because the training was too dangerous, or isit because Singaporean men are turning into weaklings? okie, i'm obviously not 'tough', but well... think about it... :D and ermz... no offence to any guy who's reading this, k?

a new release of Mozilla Firebird is out!! came out yesterday... it's Mozilla Firebird 0.7... download it here! it's very nice... juz that now u've gotta wait a while before the themes have been optimised to Firebird 0.7 so there's presently very few themes to choose from. but i think the themes should be ready soon (probably in a few weeks) and i'll juz say so here in case anyone wants to know... =)

~~Amaths~~
okay... amaths paper was a killer!!! i was actually feeling proud of myself coz i managed to do the first few questions pretty smoothly... hmm... a bit too smoothly, i guess... in fact i did almost everything pretty well... then i went back to check my answers and i was like... 'eh, how cum it doesn't seem correct wan ar?'... and anyway, whenever i do the questions so smoothly, nothing good ever happens. for example, the first few amaths tests i took seemed alright to me, but when i got the results... it was pathetic... sth around the lines of 1/13 i think... and the last amaths paper of the year... (see the post on Oct 2 2003)oh well, can't do anything about it i guess, since it's over... :P

anyway, i'm still feeling very happy since the amaths paper is over... and u know what? i didn't practise amaths much yesterday... only did the TKGS paper during tuition and about two or three questions from last yr's AHS amaths paper. so... if i pass, i'm juz damn lucky... if i fail, i'd deserve it (though of course i don't want to... der...).

well, tml's paper is Chinese... which is the last paper!!! yay!!! i'll be going out with carol after the exam... yEaH mAnz!!! we're going to bugis to catch a movie... got any nice movie's to recommend?

i've got tuition later at 4pm... so tada! i've gotta prepare for it... tink i'll read thru the sec2B chinese... hmm... wish me luck for tml's exam! hope i'll actually remember what i've tried to memorise... :D

the chem paper was... still okay... but i may not do veri well coz, as usual, i was not prepared... oh well... hu cares now?? there's only two more papers to go!!! yay!
i haven't practised amaths at all... except today of course... so i think there's a pretty high chance of me failing it... hmm... i'm doing the TKGS paper now... and if tml's paper is gonna be like tt, i think my prediction will come true... but unlike other papers... i actually DO care whether i do well for amaths coz i can only do well in my maths subjects... argh... haiz... "The vodka is good, but the steak is lousy." (it's actually "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak" after translating into russian... LOLz)

phew!!! physics and geog is FINALLY over!!! yay!! cant say i did veri well though... hahaz... physics, i should pass, with a few lucky marks... well, at least i actually could write sth... as opposed to not knowing what to write at all for mid-yr and i still passed with a b4!! hmm... might not be so lucky this time round though... oh well...

geog was a killer... ergh... as i said in my previous few posts, I had little revision and thus i conclude that i WILL either fail this paper or end up with pathetic marks... but, u know wat? i dun really care now, since it's OVER!!! =)

tml's chem, and i've gotta revise that tonite... oh well... not many left to go... 7 down, 3 more... yEaH mAnZ~!
