yayyy i cant wait for choir chalet tml!!!! so fun! ahha=))

anw we juz handed over to the brand new choir comm on friday! it was with such mixed feelings manz.. firstly felt sad (duh) cos it meant choir had ended n i technically had to leave tjchoir le=x then, i was partly relieved, cos i had after survived a yr of choir cum studies! no doubt not very well.. but passable=) i'll really miss choir n all my altos n my frens with whom we went through so many tough times.. all e long practices.. e 'crazy for you' choreo grp=), where we had to practice under a void deck!.. altos! each one of u has contributed to e alto spirit, i will miss uall so so much!! n ms tham, she'll always be my source of inspiration.. realli realli respect n admire her.. for all her achievements n brilliance.. the way she thinks n does things.. i realli wanna continue learning from her.. all in all, tjchoir has made a big difference in my life, and i'll always always rmb it. =)

ah.. choir chalet tml=) so happi=) hope it'll be as much fun, or hopefully funner than last yrs=)

hmz choir's coming to an end soon.. i'll miss it alot alot.. all e times tgt.. esp e sf trip=) it was completely unforgettable.. e ppl, e songs we sang, e music we created, e joy we felt when singing.. i'm glad i joined choir in sec1 n continued up till now.. i wonder what my life would have been without it.. i could have been in some ulu club & society.. i wouldnt have met e ppl i know now.. n i wouldnt have learnt as much.. some are already thinking of joining external choirs eg SYC and e like.. i dunno abt me though.. blablabla~~~~

anw, tml's officially e start of sports carnival~ hmm i cant say i'm particularly happy abt it.. sports isnt exactly sth i enjoy.. but whats gd is theres no lessons! so tml basically theres just two more lectures n it'll be (informally) the end of the school term! however what i particularly dread tml is e 2.4km run of course.. i seriously wish i dun have to go.. =x=x=x argh.. anyone who knows me shld know that i particularly hate running n wld choose practically anything over having to run. bah.. perhaps tts y i'm so fat.. =x=x nvm there're other ways to exercise at least..

okay this'll probably one of e happiest posts possible! =DD i'll try to give as detailed a recount as i possibly can, but well, me being my forgetful self, i'll prob haf forgotten quite a few things already=x so anw, here's about our wonderful san francisco trip! ps: thx to my dearest honeystar whose presence made it even more fun! love u lots n lots n lots! muacks=) ps.2: the following is gg to be realli realli long, so take ur time to read it=p

Day 1
met at 11am singapore time at e airport, whilst everyone in school was studying! lolx=p said e goodbyes, mine as well as his parents=) n we took a group photo with e choir banner! then we checked in, n slacked ard abit, n some ppl got sth to eat..

okay then i must admit was not one of e better days in e trip, cos we first had to take a 4 hr trip to taipei, n then transfer to sf from there. e 4hr trip was still bearable, though we were already beginning to get cramps here n there. apparently we all thought e trip to sf would take abt 20 hrs, but we were quite wrong, n it was 'only' 10hrs. even so, it was realli torture enuf.. i was super tired but somehow juz cldnt get to slp.. anw, these 10hrs passed by vv slowly cos i was constantly trying to slp but juz cldnt la.. n e meals were soso i guess, cant expect much frm airplane food.. some of e chicken was nice enuf.. but tts abt it.. e breakfast scrambled eggs were juz powdered eggs i think, took quite a lot of getting used to.. lol..

so anw fast forward to when we reach sf!! haha rocks manz!! e feeling tt u're out of singapore, out of school, no studying, and generally e feeling tt u can do juz abt anything u want le!=)) so we got our luggage n went to wait for our coach to e hotel. phew, e feeling when we went out juz b4 boarding e coach.. we felt e cool wind blowing on our faces! whee super nice k!! super duper happy=) anw we got onto e coach, n tts when i found tt my hp was still not getting a network. so i borrowed yx's hp to msg my mum tt i'm safe, n later my mum found tt my plan didnt incl auto roaming so had to activate, so for e rest of e days i cld use my hp=)

then we reached e Ramada Plaza Hotel ard 4plus, n we had to assemble at e Ghirardelli Room (its juz a room in e hotel) by 5 for a rehearsal. (btw, time diff in sf is 16hrs behind s'pore.) after tt, we went opposite our hotel for dinner.. me, yuxuan, zoe, danny, daniel, michelle n joseph went walking ard abit to explore e area.. n jojo bought his dinner frm Carl's Jr. soon there wasnt much time left, n e rest of us went to Burger King opp our hotel to eat. but seriously, e BK in US rocks k!! i ate e big fish burger meal n they realli meant what they said! its like almost twice e size of singapore's burger n their fries seriously rock manz! its crisp, n not too salty! i dare say its even better than our mac's fries!

evening time, e select choir ppl, which comprised me, yuxuan, zoe, danny, mich, daniel, jojo n audrey (which apparently was almost all of us who ate dinner tgt lol) had a rehearsal in e ghirardelli rm for e three songs: the Awakening, a medley of 3 jap songs (of which we juz sang two in e end), and Wana Baraka (a kenyan song). though we didnt realise it when we went thru it initially in singapore, when e conductors (who were also our judges) went thru e songs, all of them were seriously vvv nice!! haha.. n ppl frm other choirs sang like super well, so many ppl wif vibrato n what-not de.. lol.. scared us a little since they were to be our competitors.. lolx..

at nite, we were all damn tired le, so mostly juz unpacked some stuff.. i shared e bed wif zoe tt nite.. n slept early for our competition e nxt day..!


Day 2
we were a little late for our breakfast at e Whitcomb Ballroom (juz a ballrm in e hotel), but well=x breakfast was pretty nice, scrambled eggs, super crispy bacon, pastries, cereal, oats.. lol daniel actually thought e oats n raw sugar was porridge n pork floss!! lol we all got a gd laugh out of it, incl ms tham n ms lau who was sitting wif us (no offence to daniel!=p) breakfast was fun.. lol as usual danny n yuxuan were entertaining us=p

den after breakfast, we thought we'd be practising our songs, but apparently there was no room le, so we went sight-seeing lol.. saw the grand city hall, then walked ard looking at e streets n e colourful buildings.. lolx.. n went to a nice park n took pics=) den had to go back le, so went opp our hotel to grab a quick lunch at BK again.. lolx=)

after lunch, we then gathered at the lobby to go to the Mission Basilica for our soundcheck rehearsal. it was super windy there, esp since we had to stand outside n wait.. so we played this game tt ms tham came up wif, which went sth like this: we stand in a circle, then ms tham claps 5 times in rhythm, then e nxt person must also clap 5 times in e same rhythm, n it goes all ard e circle, such that it sounds like 5 counts in a bar liddat.. until it reaches ms tham, then she changes it to 4 beat, then e same thing, goes round e circle, then 3 beats.. n so on. n seriously, i was so malu-ated! lolx, my rhythm isnt one of e best liaoz, plus nervous, plus cold, lol esp my 5 counts de was like quite out of e rhythm la! =x=x den so malu can=x lolx.. den anw soon we cld go in le, but e interior was onli slightly warmer than e outside, after all since there wasnt much wind inside la.. but it was still cold k! den we started to practise.. ran thru all e songs.. but it was realli v crappy, n all of us ended up realli stressed up after e practice. esp for e last part of karimantanu.. all e clapping still wasnt tt much in place. i myself wasnt stable so i was realli stressed up la.. somehow juz cldnt do it all tgt properly.. was feeling quite toot lar.. well, anw went back to e hotel, rested awhile n got e altos to change into their gowns n we practised karimantanu last part for a while in my rm. sort of got it fixed la.. den released them, n did e rest of the preparation for e competition.. makeup n stuff.. didnt haf dinner lar.. nt much appetite.. so yar, juz got mentally prepared n all tt..

e bus came to go to e basilica.. n seriously! it was even colder in e nighttime.. by this time, it was abt 7.. then after putting our stuff in jonathan's bag which was looked after by ms lau, we went out into e cold(!!!) n took off our jackets (our only protection from e cold!!!! esp for e girls=x) n it was realli damn cold lar.. lolx.. girls were juz wearing a gown!! at least e guys had e whole suit la.. lolx.. so we ran (at any rate as fast as i could) to the warmup hall. ms tham brought us thru a series of stretches to warmup n body, n thank gdness after tt our bodies were v much warmed up n we didnt feel as cold anymore.. den e canyon high sch ppl were laughing at our stretching la dotz-_-''' n look at what they got. hmpf.

anw when we were finally waiting outside e hall, we were damn excited la.. haha.. den finally! e performance itself=) damn cool=) haha.. well it was both cool n literally cool la.. lol.. but anw it was much better than our afternoon practice n it was obvious tt we all enjoyed performing=) whee n after amor we were damn happy la, cos we successfully pulled off e 'chemai' part=pp hee.. n after karimantanu e back row ppl were like standing ovation for us=DD haha rocksss can! our performance totally rocked la=D haha.. den we got back to our seats, people were like turning back n saying 'That was a MARvellous performance!' heh=) muz imagine in e american accent de.. haha.. den we juz say like thank you thank you.. haha.. same thing went for when we went to e toilet in e middle of e concert.. haha.. some ppl saw us n were like praising us in e similar way=D e rest of e schs kind of neglible la.. onli Tawa College (i'm not too sure of e name) was realli gd! haha.. they were strong n were realli blended.. all of us were realli like 'wahh' la.. haha.. oh n he let me wear his jacket during e competition concert even though it was realli cold la, so sweet! =))

den we went back to e hotel.. n gathered at e lobby for debrief.. lolx we were all damn happy lar, lol.. we were all pretty high by now=) haha.. n we got even higher when e judges came out from their discussion n came to us n Donald Kendrick said 'CongratuLAtions! That was a MARvellous performance! I met Ko (which was e composer) last yr n attended his masterclass.. n that was a really.. phew! performance!' okay tt might not haf been entirely accurate, but it was realli sth liddat.. =)) so we were in even higher spirits=) haha..

den when we went opp bk to get some dinner, some ppl were like, did u perform just now? when we said yes, they were like oh that was a FABulous performance! CongratuLAtions! hahah.. n of cos=) we were even happier=p n when we went back to e hotel lobby, while waiting for e lift, some guy frm another choir was like that was a FABulous performance! really fanTASTic! e choir before u was *ahem* pretty out of tune, then when u performed, it was like phew! realli WONderful! haha.. sth liddat la.. den we happy happy went back to e hotel rm lor.. haha..

tt nite went to bed pretty early.. most ppl were pretty tired le since it was a pretty long day.. but i cldnt realli get to slp la.. was realli vv tired, but somehow juz cldnt slp!! dunno y la.. but ya.. lolx.. so didnt get much slp.. haha..

Day 3
today was quite a zombie day la.. lolx.. due to e lack of slp.. lol.. after breakfast was select choir rehearsal.. during which i kind of stoned n sang at e same time.. lol.. n immediately after tt was 2 masterclasses by Dr. Stephen Kingsbury n Anna Hamre respectively.. realli tried to concentrate=x but it was also during e masterclass when we caught this phrase 'MY PIsaI give unto YOU' lol.. 'pisai'.. it was supposed to be 'my peace i give unto you' but onli we knew what 'pisai' meant la..lol so felt quite bad when we tried to suppress our laughter la.. lolx.. cos he didnt understand n ya=x then anw i felt pretty glad when e masterclass was over la.. was realli dying liaoz.. mind pretty much cldnt focus.. n spent all e energy trying my best to do so during e masterclasses la..

then e rest had lunch while me yx zoe danny went back to our rms to get slp.. lol.. damn tired la..

after e gd nap, i felt v much refreshed le, wasnt as zombie-ish le=) but yx apparently didnt slp as well=x den anw we had to go to e basilica for a Q&A session with the Grammy-award winning choir Chanticleer! they seriously rock k! unfortunately they didnt sing yet; their performance wld be in e evening during e awards ceremony=) then after e Q&A, e select choir stayed back to rehearse=x nt tt it was boring, it's actually nice to sing tgt, but its hard to enjoy for so long if u missed an entire night's sleep=x lol..

then while e rest went for dinner.. me yx jojo stayed in e warmup hall.. where jojo got a nap.. n yx tried to slp.. lol=) love u lots btw=)) den anw the others came back pretty wet cos it rained.. zoe n danny brought back some fries for us la, haha.. muz give abit of credit.. lolx.. anw we werent too hungry esp yx cos he was stuffed to e max for e breakfast=x

den soon was time for our performance.. quite luan lar.. wont say much abt it.. den there was a few other performances.. stephen kingsbury's choir was pretty gd lar, but den i think their consonants realli abit too much la lol..

then was time for results!!!!!! haha.. was soooo nervous k! it was in alphabetical order la.. den 3 of 4 Canyon High School choirs got silver, e last one got bronze.. den was a series of silver la.. den Tawa got gold(duh!).. den........ Temasek Junior College.. GOLD!! heeee.. hahaha.. rocks can!!! We were all like screaming like crazy mad ppl, n cos we were sitting wif select choir ppl, den those frm other choirs were like congratulating us=DD hahaha..

then e nxt most impt thing is Chanticleer's performance!! they like totally rock la! each one a soloist, yet totally blended.. even ms tham says they're fantastic k! they got like 3 standing ovations!!!( or was it more i cant realli rmb) esp e bird song was damn cute la! they're like acting+singing out their music.. its quite indescribable la.. they're realli damn pro.. so after e thing, we all rushed to buy their cds! haha.. ms lau bought 3 for e choir.. den me n yx bought 3 more tt she didnt buy=) lolx..

then was back to e bus to e hotel. haha cos we usually share bus wif Tawa de, which is like so qiao can=) cos both of us are quite small ma, so will share bus lor.. n both of us travel far far to take part in this comp de, n of cos, both of us got GOLD=DD hahah.. then we were like so high, n cheering for each other during e journey back=) haha..

back in e hotel, we gathered in the lobby again.. where ms tham read to us our results n e comments. hahahaha.. rocks k! stephen kingsbury gave us 86/100, n e other two gave us 92/100=)) haha.. n donald kendrick used like 5 'Bravo!'s in the comments sheet la.. hahaha.. damn happi lar, n e moment we entered e lobby, e ppl upstairs were also like Congratulations! hahah..=)

at nite we played cards abit in daniel's room.. i didnt play much lar.. cos v tired le lolx.. den went to slp lor=) slept considerably more=)

Day 4
(phew finally i'm writing day 4, fingers quite tired le=x)
okay today is our first real day of sightseeing! first we went to Golden Gate bridge, one of e most well-known tourist attractions in SF.. actually it wasnt much lar.. lolx.. juz a bridge lor, quite noisy somemore, all e cars passing.. haha.. okay it was nt bad lar, took quite alot of pics there.. took one wif e whole choir plus banner de=)

then we went on to go to Lombard Street, e most crooked street in e world.. firstly, before tt, we had to climb like damnnnn high!!! e slope was super steep la.. n i was dying le, if not for him=p den anw when we got to e top took a few more pics, n me yx regina miaomiao n daniel were kind of lagging behind le.. den we somemore took a few more of e crooked winding down street as we walked down.. so in e end, we totally lagged out - meaning we lost e group. lolx.. so we called ms lau, n she said from lombard street, turn left n go all e way down. so tts what we did. n guess what? when we called again when we felt tt things werent rite cos we didnt see a museum anywhere (which was where they went), apparently we went wrongly.. it wasnt all e way down, it was juz a bit down then turn right. lolx, so we had to climb up again!!! n we'll all nv forget reclimbing tt leavensworth street! like, ahhh! was damn sick of e slope le lar.. lolx.. so anw e few of us missed e musuem la, according to e rest it was quite nice la, but e few of us werent tt interested in musuem's la, anw they took pics, so it was okay la=D

soon we went to union street for shopping!!!=DD haha.. rocks la, haha.. first went to Macy's for lunch! lolx.. yx bought spaghettini AND bbq chicken wif fries, n i got macaroni n cheese=) haha.. it was crazy la.. totally cldnt finish can.. cos danny oso bought e fries n chicken, den in e end we had lots of fries left over la=x k den we left e place to shop! walked abit.. came to Cody's bookstore.. it was super big de.. lol.. but didnt realli see much lar.. wasnt tt interested in buying books.. lol.. den we went to a CD store.. again v big de.. walked ard, n yx managed to get a pair of earphones=) den went opp to Ross's Dress for Less (if i rmb correctly) but didnt look much there la.. cos cheryl, kiki n grace came over n were like 'Old Navy has a lot of stuff!!' so me n zoe immediately rushed over there n see what we cld get=) yx n daniel were there first cos they left us at Ross to find a toilet.. lol=p den me n zoe went to look at second level, n saw some guy's stuff.. so we both bought sth=)) i chose a v nice tee for him k=)) muacks=) den still had some time left so we looked for some nice stuff for ourselves, like shoes n slippers n i bought one tee for myself as well!

den it was time to go back le, actually we were allowed to shop abit more la.. but e guys were tired le, n mainly bored frm nt doing anything la.. lol.. so some of us, namely me yx danny zoe jojo daniel yaoguang slowly walked back to e hotel.. on e way stopped by at a supermkt.. den went back le..

at e hotel rm rested abit lor.. was wif yx=)) den after some time, was time to get ready for e nite's Dinner & Dance le.. which was part of e whole Choral Festival de.. i wore my black n white skirt.. n a pink tshirt.. nt exactly tt formal la.. but i survived la lol.. yee chuin wore a dress tt she bought tt afternoon, damn nice lar! plus she forever so slim de! look nice in anything=) haha.. dinner was soso.. mainly e dessert was nice la i guess.. i didnt even realli try it.. lol.. then was e dance.. as usual, we being S'poreans werent used to this kinda stuff.. so me n yx stayed at e side to watch for awhile den after tt i go wif him to e internet cafe for awhile, den we met up wif some others to check out e Swan Lake performance for e following day, but unfortunately e place was closed le..

we went to daniel's rm n played cards for awhile again.. got tired.. n night ended soon after=)

Day 5
this few days went by super quickly! esp frm day 4 onwards, time went past like damn fast..=x

okay anw today we went to fisherman's wharf! rocks manz.. took bus (actually it's known as e tram, namely, e F tram.. lol.. courtesy of yx=p) to pier 39.. den we were free to walk ard e place.. unfortunately my camera spoilt la=x so in e end decided to juz kope pics frm other ppl lor.. lolx..

kind of lost e rest la.. so me n yx walked ard abit.. den we went to GAP to shop.. n i managed to get an orange jacket there!=)) n i tried to find some jeans la but cldnt find oso.. lol.. den anw left tt place n walked somemore.. walked on n we met michelle, walked somemore.. den came to this small shop, n i got a pink furry trench coat which i wore immediately!=)) or rather, is yx buy for me de=D hee.. its v nice lar!! love it alot alot.. onli prob is cant wear in S'pore, but love it anw=))

den we continued walking n called e rest to see where they were.. n went to In N' Out to eat n meet e rest(ie daniel jojo yaoguang, cos danny n zoe were MIA as usual), which was recommended strongly by ms tham.. haha.. n it was realli vv nice!! haha.. me n yx shared a double burger meal.. which totally rocked.. e burger was nice n juicy, unlike e dry burgers we haf in singapore.. lol.. then cos yx wanted to use e toilet, we went nxt door to hooters.. lol.. where e girls wear super short shorts.. so i sat down n took care of e stuff while he went to e toilet, den while waiting one of e girls came to me n was like 'hii, i'm jessica' in tt flirty seductive kind of way lol.. n 'can i help u?' blabla la.. den i juz say i waiting for a fren lor.. den yx came le, i wanted to quickly siam.. but too slow le.. she came back.. den repeated e procedure.. so yx juz bought e cheapest thing on e menu - curly fries. lolx.. so when we left e place, we had leftover fries frm In n' Out as well as hooters.. lol.. den he pei me quickly see a super big accessories shop.. but in e end nv get anything frm there la, cos it was quite ex.. den we went to buy clam chowder n some shrimps/prawns..

den as we were walking back to e meeting place (cos it was near meeting time le) we realised we didnt have e GAP bag wif us! so we narrowed down e place to hooters, n ran all e way back there, appeared looking super flustered n crappy, but managed to find e bag=) haha.. quite funny lar.. hahah.. den ran all e way back, carrying lots of plastic bags, all our fries, e bowl of clam chowder, n e bowl of shrimps! hahahaha.. think we might haf looked quite a bit of a joke running thru e tourist place wif all our stuff.. ahahah.. but it was quite fun lah hee=)) den it was like yx carried e bowl of prawns all e way to hooters de lar, n it survived all e way to e meeting point de leh! den.. climax was.. 'hi danny!' den promptly dropped all e prawns on e floor. lol. =pp super funny la.. ahhah..=DD

den we met up, den we took a ferry to alcatraz! its an island v near pier 39, so e ferry ride was quite short=x n it's super windy there la.. anw last time alcatraz was a prison island.. so tt (technically) prisoners cant escape.. we went up to e cells themselves, n each person had a set of headphones n a 'player' wif a commentary which we cld play n pause tt brought us thru e place.. it was a pretty gd tour la.. den at e end there was this confinement cell, which was super scary.. lol.. once u're locked in, den it realli pitch dark.. damn scary la, me n yx tried it la.. of cos wif him nt so scary la=p but den imagine u're alone n u're trapped there for days=x=x

den after e tour we went out, n siao it was super windy n cold k!! my teeth were like chattering n shivering liaoz.. lol.. somemore ms lau went to see some historic gardens.. lol.. den e rest of us went back to e deck.. n me n him were like sitting on e bench there, quite nice=)) then we went back on e ferry, which was v nice.. both of us sat along e side where there was less ppl.. n was v nice la.. haha.. got alot n seagulls de.. den he was like trying to take pic of e seagulls haha..

den back at pier 39, we went to hard rock cafe! me n yx shared a pulled pork burger.. which was actually quite nice, but after awhile cld get abit sick of it la.. den while waiting for e others to finish.. both of us juz kinda fell asleep, n were slightly annoyed when e others finished n woke us up.. haha.. it was realli quite a nice slp k.. lolx.. den anw took a bus back to e hotel, while some of them alighted at Union Street to shop somemore.. haha.. i wanted to shop la, but at e same time was tired oso, so went back to hotel rm le.. rested awhile.. den me n yx went down supposedly to get subway n seesee a discount shop nearby, but unfortunately both were closed le=x by this time it was ard 7plus or 8plus le i think.. den both of us wasnt tt hungry lar, so we juz bought some snacks frm Starbucks back to e hotel rm..

so as usual, went to daniel's rm again. played cards then slept..

Day 6/7/8
this is our last day in SF!!!!!!! so fast rite!! =x=x=x anw for breakfast, most ppl didnt want to haf breakfast in e hotel le.. lol.. incl me n yx.. but we still gave them some face lar.. haha.. ms lau was there earliest, followed by me n yx, n we pei her awhile lor.. n got sth to eat.. haha.. den we wanted to go subway to eat de.. but it wasnt open yet!=x so too bad la.. did our final round of packing.. den met up downstairs..

went to a conservatory.. n this place was v beautiful! took pics at a place wif sakura-like flowers.. vvv nice.. both of us took my favourite pic here! n yx got to practise his photography skills too.. haha.. =)

went to a flower conservatory, which realli had lots n lots of vvv colourful flowers.. took lots of photos here.. haha.. had lots of fun too=) yx was like so cute=D haha..=P

den walked abit more, to e Japanese tea garden.. where can tell tt americans cant tell v much diff b/n japanese n chinese.. lol.. anw it was nice lar.. there was this super curved bridge, tt u haf to climb like a ladder liddat.. lol.. then me n yx walked ard abit.. e place was quite peaceful n nice la.. ya.. den we came to a souvenir shop, n there was a machine where u cld insert one 1-cent coin n two quarters, n it'll squash e 1cent coin n press it into a small souvenir wif 'Japanese Tea Garden' n abit of decoration on it=) haha.. made two wif e coins tt i had left.. haha..

then we visited e tea house, which actually sold chinese tea la..haha.. lame sia.. which came with a plate of crackers, incl fortune cookies.. lol.. which is acty chinese too.. anw ours was e same=) got abit sick of e tea after awhile though.. haha..

then e choir had lunch at a cafe ard there.. n i ate chicken tenders, while yx had Pasta n Pesto, haha.. mine was nicer=)) his was alright la, abit tasteless though.. lolx..=pp

den we finally took bus back to Union Street, where we were supposed to queue for a cable car ride! haha.. acty e cable car isnt like tt kind in S'pore, its jus sth like a bus wif cables on top.. lolx.. den at first some ppl were kind of arguing say dun wan take cable car cos its quite ex.. den in e end say wanna take la.. den me n yx went up le lor.. den apparently not enuf places le.. haha.. so we juz waved gdbye to e rest first lor=D haha.. n ms lau juz say wait at e end=) so we happily took e cable car, juz both of us=)) hee.. vv fun sia.. n we somehow escaped buying e ticket! heeee.. we're always so heng can!=p cos e conductor was like making us go to e other end of e cable car, where he had already collected e money.. so yea, we escaped e paying=) lolx.. den we wait, n wait, n wait, den somehow things didnt feel so right le.. how come like e journey so long leh? so we decided to call ms lau, den she say juz take to e last stop n wait for her.. lol.. so okay lor, we took all e frm frm Union Street, thru Chinatown, all e way until Fisherman's Wharf! lol we were like, eh? go Fisherman's Wharf again? lolx..

but anw we tot still got lots of time, so we walked abit to a nearby hotel, cos we both needed e toilet, so went into this high class hotel n used their facilities=) haha.. den we decided to call ms lau again. apparently they'd already reach e 'last stop', but when we looked ard, they were nowhere in sight la! so we checked location, n they were in some Barnes & Nobles a few streets away! lol.. so whatever lor, we asked for directions n after numerous ppl, we finally found e Barnes & Nobles. haha.. ms lau was pretty glad we managed to find our way la.. haha.. oh well, it was quite fun la, another adventure for both of us=p

haha.. den yx managed to get like 4 bks here.. chosen by his v unique ways=pp wont elaborate here la.. but realli quite unique.. hahaha.. n i got quite a few bkmarks for my classmates there too.. then it was time to go le..

we took a bus back to Union Street, where we all had dinner at Macy's again! haha.. this time me n yx juz shared a spaghettini n a bbq chicken wif fries.. haha dun ask me y we ordered e same dishes.. but i guess we both liked them so ya=) den ms lau said after dinner we cld shop abit more if we liked n juz be back at e hotel by 8.30pm, so i got him to quickly finish by 7.30, n he pei me go to levi's to take a look! unfortunately i didnt manage to find anything la..=x was quite sad de..=x den we juz walk lor.. den yx say wanna take subway, den at first like quite hard, cos dunno what to do de.. den finally managed to find e control office tt acty had a person inside tt we cld ask.. so we managed to get a fare card frm e machine.. n e subway's quite nice manz! haha.. its like our mrt, but with our bus type of horizontal seating arrangement.. haha.. plus it was realli cushioned! like, gd quality nice cushion k! nt like our bus tt kind lousy de.. lolx=pp unfortunately it was juz one stop la, so didnt enjoy a long long ride la.. haha.. n btw e fare card is like s'pore's old fare card b4 ez-card came into existence.. n e fare gate is like exactly e same as ours.. or rather ours is exactly e same as theirs=p hhaha..

so it was v fast frm there to our hotel la, it stopped sth like opp our hotel onli=) den it was abt 8.15pm le.. (we left levi's at 8pm) n we went to subway to get our footlong sub! which we wanted to get since Day1 n didnt manage to..lol.. so anw quickly bought it n rushed all e way to e courtesy hotel rm where we put all our luggages n where we were all supposed to meet.. then apparently ms lau was gg to bathe, so me n yx decided to run over to Walgreens (a supermkt) to get more stuff to bring back=) so we ran over, he bought some chewing n bubblegum.. n we got some chocolate marshmallow 'eggs' for our classmates, as well as some mini easter eggs for e rest of TJChoir back in S'pore=) after which, we ran back to e hotel rm (my) top speed. haha.. n ms lau still hadnt finished bathing! lolll.. hee.. =)) so obviously i wasnt sad le lar, though didnt manage to shop much.. haha=pp

then, after much waiting n talking n stoning n slacking, we finally got onto e bus to e airport! during e journey, yx was like super funny la.. hahaha.. he was entertaining all of us wif all his imitations of Donald Kendrick, Anna Hamre n Stephen Kingsbury.. hahah.. super funny lar.. haha.. =))

den at e airport, security was vv tight.. even had to take off our shoes la lol.. den anw there was alot of time left.. so after finding tt there wasnt many shops open, most ppl juz sat down in e sitting area near our gate.. yx continued entertaining abit.. n i juz kind of slept abit.. cos it was abt 11+pm le, den our flight wld be at 1.10am..

den it was time to board e plane lor.. quite sad la, haf to leave sf le, after such memorable days there=x anw e plane ride this time wasnt as bad as e first time somehow=) partly cos i was quite slpy la, n managed to slp easily when i wanted to.. lolx.. den at taipei airport transit, we tried e noodle place tt ms tham recommended.. which was nt bad.. haha.. onli prob was tt yx had spent all his money, n i didnt haf any small change left=x cos they didnt accept large notes de..so danny lent us some money la n we survived.. lol..

then on e plane back to s'pore they screened rumor has it la! its actually nice de.. but i juz cldnt keep awake!! so i juz fell aslp while yx continued watching lor.. haha..

den.. finally.. reached s'pore le.. so fast la.. =x=x its like, in a flash, e whole trip was like over.. =x so anw we collected our luggage, den me n yx walked out tgt.. hee..=p den both our parents were waiting for us la haha.. den my mum acty bought a bouquet of flowers for me! lol so sweet la, but abit funny oso.. ahhaha.. den he left le towards e carpark, den our family oso went.. bad news was, it was 31deg outside!!!=x=x was melting as we stepped out to e carpark la.. lolx..=x he was also walking to his van la, den we were waving again, haha=) den we both walking in e same general direction la.. den keep waving.. haha.. was v she bu de la=x

ya den my family had lunch at eastpt, i ate abit onli lar, cos i ate one breakfast on e plane to taipei, plus e noodles, plus another breakfast on e plane to s'pore.. lolx.. so was pretty full lor..

ya so this is e end of e whole SF trip!!! wah.. took so long to type finish can! hahaha.. yayyy!! i've done it!!! though its like a week after it le.. lol.. it was realli a trip to remember.. sth i'll never ever forget throughout my whole life.. there was a whole lot of memories during e trip which i'll never want to forget.. some with e choir.. n some wif him=) i realli feel so lucky la.. ya.. now feel v thankful somehow.. haha.. okay i've typed enuf crap le, ur eyes muz be damn tired le bahz, haha.. okie end of post!

i'm vvv happi today!! (acty it was yest but i'm still happi anw so nvm=p) ahhah i promised in my prev post tt my nxt post (which is this post) would be happi n i'm keeping to tt promise=) haha, i've got a vvv gd news! hee.. i've told my parents abt me n my dearest yuxuan!!=DD yayy! i was super nervous yest, but thx to my essay-like planning (i considered my parents perspective, tackle e different areas of concern tt they'll haf.. etc) n of cos muz set e proper mood n environment=pp needed alot of planning de k! so anw now they generally approve! yay! of cos they had to talk abt studies n all tt la, but of cos since i pre-empted that..=) i shant elaborate too much on my planning le la, but i was quite impressed by myself=) oops..=p e point is, now they know n i'm more or less guilt-free!!=D

n also, on tues afternoon me n melissa went to weiwei's house!! haah we watched Yours, Mine & Ours (which hadnt even come out yet!=p) n Monster-in-law which was super nice!! realli enjoyed myself=)

n on tt same day, tues nite, me n mich met up wif e alto yr3s! so nice k! we went to swensen's for dinner.. n even though some couldnt make it, it was nice meeting up again after so long!=) n realli hope they're all happy, n go on to do what they want to do=)

n lastly, i juz finished helping nelly design her new blog template!! see it here! haha.. juz before doing hers i also did tpjc's climbing club blog, which i have nearly completed, juz tt i'm waiting for some of their pics so tt i can include them in=) n i'm pretty satisfied wif nel's blog!! v long nv do le, so feeling pretty refreshed after doing it, made me happy=)

got back chi ao results today. nt surprising. nt particularly sad nor happy, juz.. soso. didnt work for it la, so i cant say anything for myself. n considering there're ppl who did worse anw.. there's nth i can say; whether i'm disappointed or not. its juz.. like tt. well, great! i'm finally dropping chinese for eternity. though i lose one extra break in my timetable, this shld mean a better timetable for our class since i think we're all dropping chinese le.

i'm always juz blogging when i'm feeling low huh. lolx.. i shall try to make sure my next post will be a happy one! after all isnt tt e theme of my blog? happiness. hopefully.

anw choir yesterday was fun as always, and we sang witness n chacarera! haha.. before that was soundcheck, which was quite fun=pp lolx.. n grp3 was so jianded! i swear daniel did it on purpose.. the only comm members left testing them was me n danny! hmpf~ lolx anw after e soundcheck we sang amor n shenandoah n corrected some mistakes for our 'performance' nxt week, during the 'activity specially arranged with particular consideration to the students of TJC' (thats another story i might touch on later). after that, we tried combining chacarera without very much progress, but thank god ms tham came in time n she kind of salvaged the situation. was v fun la, but regrettably we didnt know our parts well enough so ya..=xx

2nd day or yr1 orientation today.. ran ard bedok area for abt 5hrs.. quite fun bahz.. esp e 'honk! if u think i'm hot part', where they had to stand by the roadside n get drivers to honk at u.. lolx.. quite funny la..

other than tt it was also our pdp exhibition.. performed abit n tried publicising ard.. n managed to get some to sign up for our auditions.. hopefully we'll get a gd batch=)

anw, been feeling abit low today.. dunno y, juz feel i cant seem to do anything right.. seriously.. i dun even know what i'm gd at.. and like i can say i want to do well academically, but i juz realli cant.. yet.. i wish i cld juz.. i dunno.. 'give up' seems rather dramatic.. but if i cld juz stop trying.. yet i cant.. its not a choice.. and its not juz academic stuff.. ohwellx.. cant exactly say what i'm thinking either.. bleargh.. and i'm yr2 already.. its my a's this yr.. i already kind of screwed up my o's.. and i totally wasted one yr in yr1.. screwed up my promos so badly.. ended up in this horrible crappy state that i juz deserved.. n i'm left with a's as my very last chance.. yet now, even though i had certain resolve to work during the holidays.. here i am, brains empty hw untouched.. nth done at all except for choir, playing maple, and pure slacking.. plus i'm now missing at week's work due to the orientation.. which, given my situation, i so shldnt have joined.. and i'll still be missing yet another week's worth of lessons in term 2 for our choir san francisco trip, though i'm vv looking forward to that.. all in all, i'm pretty screwed this yr again, unless i somehow manage to become a totally different person and actually start to mug. which, i say again, i cant! i cant concentrate. i cant focus. i get distracted by the slightest thing. in the end, nth goes into my head again and despite me realli realli wanting to do well this yr, i dunno if i can achieve that. i'm realli vv scared of this yr. i fear that once i screw my a's, i wont know what to do. so much, realli alot alot depends on my academic results this yr.. so much that i'm realli afraid i cant make it, then what happens? i dont know..

wah yesterday's concert rocks!!!! totally man. wheee!! e sound was nice n volume was perfect even though we performed w/o mics!! woohoo we rock! and i wan photos! but i cant find yet=x lolx, but i think we cld've performed better for navidad nuestra.. but it still rocks la!=) soloist rocks!!=D both.=) haha=)

so i'm suffering frm after concert hangover, n am officially extremely bored now. lol. listening to whatever songs i managed to find tt we sang.. haha.. and juz how unlucky am i??? firstly, today i woke up at 7am!! hallo??? i slept at 1am! and somehow my eyes juz popped open at 7! i was like, huh? i wanna slp! so being e unlucky person i am, i juz stoned on my bed for abt 2 hrs. like, what a total waste of time. lolx, i'm like super tired la, den dunno y woke up so early. siao sia.. somemore woke up with a totally dry throat and it was totally hurting me. so to relieve my boredom, i wanted to play maple! then!! there's a patch!!! so i cant play!! so what am i gg to do??? haiii..

so i'm like gg officially quite crazy as is apparent frm this post. i think i've been talking and entertaining myself since 7am until now, and will continue in this crazy state until mq can meet me.

haha been a looong time since i last blogged.. haha.. well, yesterday was my first experience at lan gaming! lolll.. played dota with yx, jojo, danny n zhiren! haha kind of a weird combi with frens n my cousin.. but anw, i kept dying la lol.. i'd still rather play maple.. regardless of it being called a noob game.. well whatever.. haha..

hm. got back phys, maths, econs n chi today. extreme suckiness. esp maths, which i worked e hardest for but yet did not get results. e one i depend on e most. e one i thought i was most confident abt. yet..=x i did much worse for econs, but i was hardly affected cos i expected e poor results. maths was a severe disappointment. now im even worrying abt whether i can promote. like wow. n since when has phys beaten my maths. it was surprising when i received my phys.. i think my phys tutor's surprised too.. but for maths, i wanted so much to get at least a c.. was tt too much to ask? or i guess i deserved it.. after a whole yr of slacking.. well.. its over, i cant do anything about it now except to wait n see.

on a lighter note, we went to sakae sushi for e student's buffet today! me, shurong, wendy, melissa, weiwei n xiaoshan.. lolx.. ate until can die.. now almost wanna slp liao.. lol.. but muz do op=x sianz.. n finally ate some nice mochimochi! lolx.. mango was e nicest.. n nxt time muz find peach de to try.. haha..

n yest went out wif my family den we bought a new printer/scanner/copier! 3 in 1! haha.. finally i got a scanner=) was tinkering about with it yest=P

okay today was e first day of promos.. and we juz finished our gp and chi paper.. hmz.. tml n wed is study break as they call it but its like dotz la, its between papers.. anw thurs is my maths n fm papers.. then break 3 days, mon got phys, tues econs.. then i'll finally be free! no not really, there's still op for pw..=x=x quite sucky la.. hai.. somehow not in a very gd mood.. cya~
